Matching Blue n Orange Earrings

Here are the matching earrings that are a part of the set and go with the Blue n Orange Puffy Heart Necklace. Each one has a single large rondelle with the mixed blue and orange swirl and an orange bicone, with the knotted jump rings stacked in-between.  They are just the right size for a smaller pair of earrings at 1".

I also forgot to add the measurements of the necklace. It measures at 23.5" without the pendant, and goes up to 26.5" with the extender chain.
When measured with the pendant, it's 27", and goes up to 30" with the extender chain.

Earrings only - $8

Blue n Orange Puffy Heart Necklace and Earrings Set - $35

Blue n Orange Puffy Dichroic Glass Heart Necklace

It's time for some blue n orange representation. If you're a Gator fan, you'll probably appreciate this next necklace. I found this great puffy heart glass pendant, similar to the pink puffy heart pendant but about a 1/2 inch smaller. It's colors are deep blue, orange, green and a hint of yellow and almost seem to glow in dichroic glass. It's also set in a heart shape, and surrounded on the sides by clear glass. To go with it, I really liked these intriguing looking large faceted rondelles that have a swirl effect inside - some are a more solid single color of blue, orange or white, while others are a mixed swirl variation of blue, orange and white. To keep it coordinated, I also accented with dark blue barrel, round white cats eye, orange and metallic crystal bicones, and small faceted green glass beads. The accent beads at the top portion of the necklace are 'stacked' with knotted jump rings in-between which give them a slight 'swirl' effect to match the swirled effect of the glass beads, and give it a little more uniqueness and variety. The clasp is done in the lobster clasp style, and has a heart that makes up the bottom portion - different and really cute. Even if you're not a Gator fan, I hope you'll find this necklace fun, different, and fabulous!

I should add that I had visions of a deep blue sky in the picture background accentuating the deep blue of the beads...  apparently Mother Nature did not share the same vision...  :)

Results of Pink Puffy Heart Project

Results are in and this is what I was told when she received her necklace -

'She absolutely loved it.  She is upset she didn’t wear something she could wear it with today, but she has it displayed in the open box on her desk to show it off.'

I'm so thrilled to hear she loved it! She sounds like a special lady who deserves a special necklace. Thank you for ordering and creating such a great custom necklace. Can't wait for you to show it off!

Pink Puffy Heart Project continued..

Well the final touches were put on the Pink Puffy Heart Project, and I am so excited how it turned out! I HEART it, pun intended he he. To recap, one of the ladies loved this large Murano glass puffy heart - it's flat on the back but puffy on the front and around the sides, has light pink glass on the inside with white glass ribbons wrapped around it, then surrounded by clear glass on the sides for a unique and unusual effect. The glass heart was a little more expensive but REALLY pretty. I picked out a few accompanying beads and below are a few pics of the end design. There are more pics in the Project link bin.

I used pink faceted cats eye beads, white cats eye beads, 10mm faceted round glass beads, clear seed beads, silver spacer bar connectors, filigreed spacer beads, large lobster clasp, pewter heart charm with pink bicone crystals as dangle, and chain. She wanted the neckace around 25", and with the heart it reaches to 26.5".

I really had fun and enjoyed designing this necklace, I hope she loves it!

Pink Puffy Heart Project

One of the ladies wanted a pink puffy glass heart necklace, similar to the puffy heart necklace I made. Instead of the blue/yellow tones of the one I made, she really wanted a pink heart. I searched all over and found a few options, and she really liked this one. So I've searched and gathered a few coordinating beads to go with. It just arrived so now I'm off to the design table. I'm so excited to see how it turns out! I'll keep you posted on its progress.

Coco Heart Pendant Necklace

Next, I'd like to feature the Coco Heart Pendant Necklace. This heart pendant was just too cute to pass up, and I had to make a necklace out of it. It's made and carved into the heart shape from actual coconut shell, definitely something you don't see or find every day. I found these cute glass beads that looked like they were made to have a 'coconut' look to them - also a 'had to buy' purchase. I used glass, foil glass, striped quartz, and wooden matching beads to go along with them. To give it a nice finish, there's a small lobster clasp which is also heart-shaped to coordinate with the heart pendant. The whole necklace measures 25" long with a 3" extender chain. There are 2 pairs of matching earrings to choose from.  For Option 1, I made using the same cute coconut style beads, glass and wooden bicones. The second pair or Option 2, I used the wooden and glass bicone beads only, for a more simplified look. You have the option of getting just one pair of earrings to go with this necklace, or getting both pairs. This was really fun to make and is still stylish but cute as a button! I think you would have fun and look cute as a button wearing it. The necklace can be purchased for $25, $30 with one pair of matching earrings, or $35 with both pairs of matching earrings. You can do this by selecting which Necklace Option you would like and then clicking the Add to Cart button below. Hope you love it!

All better now...

One of the ladies brought this bracelet to me and asked if I could repair it. The round part of the toggle clasp had broken off, and it couldn't be worn anymore. Unfortunately I couldn't use the same clasp because a piece had broken off of it, so I had to find and order another one. Luckily I was able to find one very similar in size and color to the one she already had. After restringing with the new clasp, this is how it turned out. I think it looks all better now...  :)

Orange Bling Bracelets continued...

Adding to the Long Horn theme, I wanted to make a bracelet that made a bolder statement and effect. So this time I thought I'd use larger orange chinese crystal cubes and faceted round clear crystals, and then connected them in the middle with a silver oval puffed metal bead with a neat filigree design for more drama. On the ends are a metal filigreed teardrop toggle clasp to complete the look. The cute pair of matching earrings also continues with the Long Horn orange, white, clear theme, with a single orange cube and a metallic silver bicone crystal dangling on the bottom. Any Horns fan, or jewelry lover, could wear this bracelet with pride.
The bracelet measures 7.3" in length. The earrings are 1.75". Please email me if you need a different size made. More pics are in the $20 bin. To purchase this item, scroll below and select the correct bracelet option in the drop down box and hit the Add to Cart button.

Long Horn Fans!

I've heard that there might be some Long Horn fans that could use some representin'... Since I'm a native Texan, I was happy to oblige. So I started with these lovely rich orange crystal bicones, gave them some extra bling by surrounding them with silver and clear crystals, and a contrasting white shell alternate to keep with the Long Horn theme. I completed the look with a Heart toggle clasp. I noticed the bar part of the clasp is slightly bent looking, and could almost resemble a 'horn' shape - I thought this was a nice touch. :)  I think this cute bracelet would make a pretty nice showing and compliment any Long Horn themed clothing or jewelry. I have another one in the works so be on the lookout. I also know there are a few Gator fans that would probably like to see some representation, that'll be coming up as well. That's all for me for now.

Large Crystal Kumihimo Bracelet

I did this Kumihimo using larger crystals in black and white. Regular size crystals are 2x4", this one uses 4x6". It measures 8" long but I can make different sizes, colors, and clasps as requested. Some colors will need to be special ordered.  You can really see the difference in crystal size, and it does wear and feel a little 'chunkier' on the wrist because of this. I used an etched looking magnetic foldover square clasp. It is also located in the $20 and Up bin for $45.

This pic shows the difference in size between the Large Crystal Kumi and the Regular size Kumi.

Red, White and Blue Kumihomo bracelet

Aunt April was also nice enough to let me take a quick snapshot of the red, white and blue Kumihimo bracelet she bought. It also has gold crystal accents with a brass magnetic bullet clasp which makes it real easy to put on. Love how the matching shirt gets extra bling with the bracelet.
